Prof., Steven Guan, Tsinghua University, China.

Biography:

Steven Guan received his BSc. from Tsinghua University and M.Sc. & Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is currently a Professor at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) and Honorary Professor at University of Liverpool. He served the head of department position at XJTLU for 4.5 years, creating the department from scratch and now in shape. Before joining XJTLU, he was a tenured professor and chair in intelligent systems at Brunel University, UK. 

Prof. Guan has worked in a prestigious R&D organization for several years, serving as a design engineer, project leader, and department manager. After leaving the industry, he joined the academia for three and half years. He served as deputy director for the Computing Center and the chairman for the Department of Information & Communication Technology. Later he joined the Electrical & Computer Engineering Department at National University of Singapore as an associate professor for 8 years. 

Prof. Guan’s research interests include: machine earning, computational intelligence, big data analytics, mobile commerce, modeling, networking, personalization, security, and pseudorandom number generation. He has published extensively in these areas, with 150+ journal papers and 210+ book chapters or conference papers. He has chaired, delivered keynote speech for 180+ international conferences and served in 180+ international conference committees and 20+ editorial boards. Biography:

Dr. Anand Nayyar received Ph.D (Computer Science) from Desh Bhagat University in 2017 in the area of Wireless Sensor Networks, Swarm Intelligence and Network Simulation. He is currently working in School of Computer Science-Duy Tan University, Da Nang, Vietnam as Professor, Scientist, Vice-Chairman (Research) and Director- IoT and Intelligent Systems Lab. A Certified Professional with 250+ Professional certifications from CISCO, Microsoft, Amazon, Alibaba Cloud, Oracle, Google, Beingcert, EXIN, GAQM, Cyberoam and many more. Biography:

Dr. Jinsong Wu received 2020 IEEE Green Communications and Computing Technical Committee Distinguished Technical Achievement Recognition Award, for his outstanding technical leadership and achievement in green wireless communications and networking, and received 2017 IEEE Green Communications and Computing Technical Committee Excellent Services Award for his Excellent Technical Leadership and Services in the Green Communications and Computing Community. He is the proposer (2021), Founder (2022) and Founding Editor-in-Chief (2022-present) for the international journal, Green Technologies and Sustainability (GTS), co-published by Elsevier and China Science Publishing & Media Ltd. jointly called KeAi. He was the leading Editor and a co-author of the comprehensive book, entitled “Green Communications: Theoretical Fundamentals, Algorithms, and Applications”, published by CRC Press in September 2012, which has been recognized as the very first comprehensive published book effort on green communications covering broad topics of green wireless communications, green wireline communications, general relevant green topics and applications in one book using a research perspective. He won 2017,2019,2021 IEEE System Journal Best Paper Awards.  He won the 2018 IEEE Green Communications and Computing Technical Committee Best Magazine Paper Award. He was the founder (2011) and founding Chair (2011-2017) of the Technical Committee on Green Communications and Computing (TCGCC). Biography:
Dr. Raffaele Carli is the Associate Professor in Systems and Control Engineering at Polytechnic of Bari - Dept. of Electrical and Information Engineering. And he is Technical responsible for the Decision and Control Laboratory (coordinated by prof. Mariagrazia Dotoli) at Polytechnic of Bari - Dept. of Electric and Information Engineering. He held the following positions in Systems and Control Engineering at Polytechnic of Bari - Dept. of Electric and Information Engineering, Assistant Professor during March 2022 – February 2025, Assistant Professor duringDecember 2020 – February 2022, Post-doc Research Fellow during January 2016 – November 2020.

Dr. Raffaele Carli received Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, Polytechnic of Bari, Bari, Italy, 2002.
